THE FINAL 5 MONTHS OF OUR MISSION HAS BEGUN.
We are on track to finish what started: "Introducing the 4-Generations Family History Online Program." We embarked on and successfully ended an intensive travel plan to Meeting Houses throughout Indonesia Presenting the Power Point Family History plans to, among others, Medan (Sumatra) Manado ( Sulawesi) Bandung, Solo/Surakarta, Semarang, Malang, Yokyakarta.
After meeting with Elder Subiantoro recently,we organized & planned our "Final 5 month Stretch" together, based on:
1. Encouraging members to submit and increase submitting Temple ready names to be processed. If members cannot regularly visit Temples after the 1st "Sponsored" trip, they can let others do the work. Many members in Indonesia cannot afford visits to the closest Temples, Hong Kong & Manilla, The Philippines.
2. Revive & promote the very successful 4-Generations Certificate Plan we organized & started. To start getting members excited about entering their Family Tree Online opening their own individual "FamilySearch" (free) Account
3. Introduce & promote the Family History "Workshops" to all Stakes/Districts Wards & Branches.
4. Since the introduction of the 2 Hour "block", encourage, invite & promote at home Family History activities including 12 year up Youth to get involved.
Next week the January Reports will arrive at Sister Priscilla Tandiman's desk. She has informed us already to have a meeting right after to set up a Travel Plan to meeting houses she decides need visits. "Bagus Sekali. Kami Siap". ( Very Good. We are ready.) We are fine tuning the last updates & additions to our Family History Power Point Presentation so members will clearly understand that the Family History department is increasing efforts to encourage & promote the supply of Temple ready names. Set in motion increased efforts to get Leaders & members involved in Family History & maintain the resulting Momentum as long as possible. Sister Tandiman is contacting the Leaders to back these efforts. We received an update yesterday that we can imminently expect the looked forward to invitation to visit Bogor ( the former Buitenzorg).
